The 2006 Poggioargentiera “Capatosta” Toscana Rosso is a bold Super Tuscan wine from the Maremma region. Ruby colouration in the glass, and a bouquet of dark flowers (violet) and spice (pepper, cinnamon, cloves) but also with a nuance of chocolate. In the mouth it is fresh, with good acidity, still fruity, with smooth tannins. A very drinkable wine, a mature wine of great elegance. This wine pairs excellently with grilled steak, wild boar ragù, or aged Pecorino Toscano.
