2018 Vega Sicilia Valbuena 5º 1.5lt.

Valbuena 5º is the purest expression of red wine from Vega Sicilia, aged for over five years in barrels and bottles. The 2018 vintage is fresher and more vibrant, featuring a stricter selection process that enhances its zing and verticality. This year, there is increased extraction and wood influence, particularly from American oak. The wine showcases a crystalline expression, rich in nuances with a seductive, unctuous texture. It has received high ratings: 96 points from R. Parker Wine Advocate, 96 points from Guia Penin, 95 points from Revista Adega, and 94 points from Wine Spectator.
