The 2021 Cascina Castlet “Passum” Barbera d’Asti DOCG is a rich and velvety wine from Piedmont's Cascina Castlet estate. It features intense aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry, and sweet spice, with notes of cocoa and vanilla from oak aging. This wine has received great reviews with 93 Vinum magazine and 91 from Decanter. This full-bodied wine has vibrant acidity and a long, smooth finish, making it an excellent pairing for braised meats, pasta al ragù, or aged cheeses.
