The 2021 Lodali "Bricco Ambrogio" Barolo DOCG (0.75 L) is an elegant and expressive wine from the renowned Bricco Ambrogio cru in La Morra. More elegant than powerful, with precise aromas of redcurrants, dried flowers and licorice root. Graceful, medium-bodied palate with grainy yet ripe tannins, crisp acidity and a long, savoury finish. This wine would make an excellent pairing for braised meats, truffle dishes, or aged cheeses. It received 95 points from Ian D'Agata, 93 points from Wine Enthusiast and 91 points from James Suckling.
